Imitate Jesus

When a sportsman wins a game or a fight, we usually would want to be associated with his success. Either we befriend him or become his fan or simply talk about his fame and fortune. We patronize the products he endorses or we buy and wear clothes with his name or photo printed on them. In other words, we feel good about him and it gives us a sense of satisfaction and happiness for that sportsman. This is understandable since we want better lives without corruption. We see that kind of life in him. He becomes our model who is worthy of being emulated - a person who exudes or exemplies influence, discipline, power, strength, patience, perseverance, intelligence, wealth, abundance, success and above all, faith. Hence, practically everyday, we may never fail to hear about him, talk about him, read about him, think about him or imitate anything about him. But come to think of it - have we done the same for Jesus?
