Oh Lord Jesus Christ, I am truly and deeply humbled by Your sincere act of giving encouragement to the women of Jerusalem, and in effect to all the people around You. This is despite the hardships that you have been going through at that time. The women and the people who believes in your goodness, mercy and the truth as the Messiah, have been given a very important message – to weep for themselves and their children. It is out of love that this message was clearly given to all, including us, at this time and age. There will be trials, but that would not mean that we must lose hope. Christ has assured us that while this world will continue to be arrogant and ungrateful, He will be with us, or those who will truly believe in Him. Amen.
