"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Greetings of Peace ! There was a point in my life when I had this strange feeling of being told to shun away from anything about the Blessed Mother. I was being pulled away from her, and instead, I was being directed to, well, go to God directly. There was this seemingly simple or harmless question - "why do I have to pass through her when I can make it on my own?" - which kept on coming to my mind. Such question became a source of fear rather than comfort in my effort to make myself prepared for judgment day when I will be called upon to account for my life, my acts and deeds in this world. Just thinking about that moment is mind boggling and deeply stressful. It was after all an attempt to make me leave my Catholic Faith.
I had to ask myself practical questions - as most of us would do when it comes to matters involving life and death. What if I do not go to heaven? What if I do not go to Purgatory even? Then it must be Hell and I really do not like that to happen to me. These are questions which many would even take for granted. These are questions which people would not even care to answer - seriously.
There are others who would do their spiritual exercises hoping that they will be prepared just in case - it is time to die. Hence, as for me, every week, whenever I have that chance, I will go to confession, and pray my rosary thereafter. I feel good and secured, at least for a while.
But the world is full of wolves. They are out to devour souls.
Therefore, it is important that we must constantly be vigilant against these forces of evil. They will do everything to pull you down and compel you to embrace their ways - if at all you will allow it. They would want you to have a pact with them, so that they will own your soul.
However, God works in many wondrous ways. He cannot be outdone in generosity. The Lord remains my Shepherd and thus, "I shall not want".
It is a matter of being steadfast in the Faith - persevering and trusting in the Lord, despite adversities that may befall you, and later on, rising up stronger than before, resilient and victorious in the Most Holy Name of Jesus.
All throughout these trying and rough times, we can find solace in the Love of Our Blessed Mother. Remember that she has been with Our Lord Jesus Christ from birth and all throughout His trials and tribulations on earth, until He died on the Holy Cross. And truly, there is no doubt that Our Lord found so much comfort and assurances from the Blessed Mother.
Although He knows it even before the Creation, He actually doesn't even need them for He is God. Yet, He allowed the Blessed Mother to do what she had to. There is an unconditional respect and honor for a mother. Imagine ! Our Lord, Our God, honoring the Blessed Mother. Then who are we, mere human beings, to question the wisdom of others honoring her too.
The Wedding at Cana was a manifestation of this honor and obedience given to the Blessed Mother by Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself. This event can be found in the Luminous Mystery of the Holy Rosary. IT WAS HIS FIRST MIRACLE DONE THROUGH THE INTERCESSION OF THE BLESSED MOTHER.
So with that, need I say more? Do I need to explain further? I don't think so.
This is thus an apostolate. It is for free. No money is asked. No donations solicited. Nothing is needed except for you to believe and to embrace the Catholic Faith. In do so, immerse yourself in consistently nurturing your devotion to the Blessed Mother and Her Most Holy Rosary.
God Bless.
